Very good location, 15 min walk from main sightseeing points, big and clean room, bath with all necessary stuff, polite stuff, the oldest cafe La Campana is quite close, good shopping area, taxi station on the square!
Lovely hotel to stay at, staff good and helpful, everything you need for a city break hotel, clean and comfortable, fantastic location.
Breakfast not that good, would have liked the bar to be open to have a drink and relax on the roof terrace, or in the lounge,
The location of the Hotel was fantastic. We were within walking distance to most of sevilla sites. We booked a triple room which was essentially I assume their twin with a roll up bed but the mattress was still very comfortable. Wifi Service was good. We had good wifi cover in our room which hasnt been the case in many of the other hotels we stayed at in our trip. Not a warm and fuzzy place to live in but definitely ideal for a comfortable place to return to at the end of the day of sightseeing and tapas indulging.
The hotel staff were not very friendly. It could have been the language barrier but it was more the demeanour and general gruffness.
Location - about as central as you could possibly be in Seville
I very much recommend this hotel. Efficient yet very friendly hotel, helpful staff, good clean rooms, excellent breakfast, great location for sight-seeing of Seville. I visited in spring, so the weather was OK and the room temperatute comfortable. But I think that there is an air-conditioner in the room for when the weather is very hot in summer.
The Derby has an excellent location in the heart of Seville "old town", only 10 minutes walk from the cathedral and 5 minutes from a great selection of tapas bars. Hotel is basic but comfortable and the staff pleasant and helpful. Parking in a public underground garage is available literally across the square in Plaze condordia and costs only 12 Euro per day with a ticket from the hotel.
It's proximity to everything I wanted to see.
The heat was very high in the rooms.
Very helpful staff and good size room. Fantastic central location.Thank goodness for the air conditioning!
Great location at reasonable price. Local restaurants right outside the door. Within walking distance of the Cathedral and Alcezar and lots of shopping and other restaurants. Helpful staff.
We found the hotel to be within walking distance to all the major sites we wanted to visit. At the same time it was adjacent to good shopping and transport.
My only complaint was that I had my cellphone stolen from the dining room/lounge area. We had been warned about theft in Spain but the hotel was otherwise a very safe environment so I was disappointed to have the phone stolen.
The hotel was in an excellent location, close to all the tourist sites. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean.
Really easy and fast to get there from the airport. The traffic outside the hotel might scare you a bit when you first arrive, although you wont feel any noise of that once you are in the hotel. The location is good to go all around Sevilla even if you want to do it just by walking. Also good if you want to go shopping (there are all kind of stores just one block away).
The internet conexion was bad. Never worked. Finally, they offer me to go to other hotel (just one block away) to get connected (for free). It was uncomfortable, though. If you get a room with number 318 just say no! It was horrible, there were horrible noises from the roof which I suppose were from a/c equipment. So I must suggest to reject that room or any close to it like 319, 320 an so. They gave me another room and apologize but still uncomfortable
It was centrally located and very clean.
Did not like the fact that every time we turned the heating down the cleaners the following day turned it up to 30 deg. Which made the room very unpleasant on our return and they also closed the windows,
It's right in the heart of the city. The staff were very helpful.
We could hear people in the next room talking. Breakfast was poor, having milk poured out onto your cereal by the staff felt like rationing was in place. Spanish hotels just don't seem to cater for breakfast in general though so no big deal. There's a nice rooftop area where you can bring your own in if you like.
Location- within walking distance of main tourist atractions. Taxi rank outside and supermarket in square opposite. wifi in rooms.
We were given a smoker's room. No tea making facilities.
